Has Developer’s team ever done a post implementation audit for an otherwise excellent product? Give it a try. So far, Developers from Titan Quest routinely promise way more than they can deliver. If I were a hiring manager, and if a candidate’s resume read “Hero Developer for Titan Quest”, my first instinct would be to trash the resume and move on to another candidate. Such items are just plain junk, and leave me wondering whether Developer has ever spent time actually playing the game. Example: Required player level 3, required strength 256. I have noticed time after time items dropped or sold that bear no resemblance to what a player can actually use. Another case where the game promises but cannot deliver. Whatever test should be done to activate the skill, it isn’t being done or it just doesn’t work. One shot from a Hero enemy does the trick. My player has been defeated twice because the skill never activates. The item grants the skill Health, which activates when health is low and promisses to restore 10,000 health. My player has an item called Clasp of the Mothers. But once everything it tightened up, this’ll indisputably be a 5 star game and the best of its class on the AppStore.

It still seems a little sluggish and/or unresponsive at times. Hopefully they tighten up the controls, especially for ranged and spells. It doesn’t crash nearly as much as it did in the past, the controls are considerably better (not perfected yet though), and having all the classes and shared storage makes multiple play throughs with a variety of builds infinitely more fun. This is by far the best Diablo(2)-like game on iOS, and the best version of it by far. Not only did they release all the DLC at once (and a total steal if buying the bundle is your first purchase of this game on iOS), but they’ve since made several UI, performance and stability fixes. I was worried for awhile that this too was going to be neglected because of the lack of any major updates, but once they dropped the DLC, the updates just keep coming. This is the 3rd iteration of this game I’ve purchased on the AppStore, and hopefully the last.
